My friend in Wellington just checked out the air fare from Wellington to Gisborne return for Christmas. ....Up on Wednesday 23 December and return on Monday 28 December. Total amount $828.00!!! I could get to New York one way for that or two return trips to Australia. C'mon Jetstar break their monopoly on this route.
