My husband and I were booked on flight from DeNang to Hanoi Vietnam with Jetstar. I received email two days prior to flight stating it had been cancelled but rescheduled for following day. As we were actually at DeNang airport I went to Jetstar counter to ask for refund as the next day was not suitable as we had a tour booked in Hanoi accommodation paid for and did not want to miss day of tour and pay for more accommodation. It took a lot of explaining that I wanted refund as the girl kept saying it was rescheduled, we had insurance from Jetstar as well so we were fully covered for refund. I was eventually told would be given refund within five business days. After booking flight with different airline(more out of pocket expense ) we continued our holiday. After returning back home ten days later we still had not received refund. Sent email to ask when we would receive refund with prompt reply of it was being given priority. Several more days and emails this time with no reply, phoned Jetstar eventually to be told had to wait fifteen business days for refund. I informed that it was more than seventeen business days ( we have just had couple of public holidays for Easter), was told oh in that case will make it priority. Not sure when or if we will be refunded but do know will not book or fly with this airline again. Vented!
