I was supposed to take a flight out of HK to Singapore on the 31 Oct,1345hrs. After I had checked in, the airport staff mention there was a delay till 4.45pm. Ok, expected since i was paying that amount and i never received an sms that the flight was delayed. Was giving the mobile number only for show?
Once i reached the ariport, I had to rub my eyes several times before I saw it was delayed for 7 hours. No explanation whatsoever. Just delayed. Jetstar could have practically flown 2 time zones with the amount of waiting time.
Upon going into the gate, airport staff pulled me aside to inform me I was given compensation: HKD$40dollars for refreshment. But that was a laugh and practically, spitting in my face. That couldn't even cover transportation upon arrival in Singapore during midnight charge.
No point calling Jetstar. Instead, call it JetHell. At some stage, I was debating suicide or mass murder.
