My wife and I flew to Bali from Melbourne via Darwin on JQ61/81 on the 24tth April.
Our one checked bag failed to arrive in Bali and for the last 8 days we have been subject to the most atrocious levels of customer service we have ever experienced.
I understand bags can be mishandled but the staff at Jetstar Melbourne and their Baggage Services in the Philipinnes are not even able to communicate just what action if any they are undertaking even after numerous telephone calls and emails.
The only response we have received to date is that they are unable to confirm if the bag even was uplifted ex Melbourne let alone mis transhipped in Darwin .
I finally got through to Melbourne Baggage Services from Bali only to be told " I dont have your file in front of me' and the staff member then rudely just hung up.
We are now at a complete loss as to how/who if any one in Jetstar is actually doing anything to locate our bag let alone have the professional decency to respond honestly to our problem.
I wish to bring this total lack of customer service and break down in internal communication to somebody of authority in Jetstar and would really appreciate any direct contact email addresses.
