screwed by jetstar

we got put through hell by jet star they canceled our flight with no explanation and never called us back about
new flights, we called the call center they were no help, they told us there was no problem with the flight, this is the call
center in the Philippines, they had no idea, we received a text from jet star saying it's canceled, the call center says just
ignore the text, finally I call the airport they confirm that yes the flight is canceled. In the end Jet star never called us back,
due to my wife urgently needing to get back to the Philippines because her passport was about to expire the next day we had to just pay for a flight with a different airline, we put in for a refund for the jet star flight from Brisbane-Darwin and then Darwin-Manila.
On the return flight because my wife was late getting to the Philippines some of her plans had to change, this meant she now needed to stay there longer and needed to change her return flight back to Brisbane via Darwin still booked with jet star
the way we see it this was the fault of jet star and because of that i thought it fair that they should wave the $75 fee to change the
booking, but no not even after what we had been through would they offer some compassion.
I spoke firstly to the call center on 11th March it took the guy 45min to figure out what i wanted then he said he needed to call me
right back, this never happened.
the next day 12th march 2011
I spoke again to the call center in the Philippines the first girl told me no they won't wave the fee despite calls i'd made to
jet star in brisbane ariport and the call mentioned above on march 11th when the guy said he'd call me back but never did,
he told me yes we will not charge you to change fee. I was so angry by this stage i ask for a supervisor, the supervisor doesn'tr seem to care , I asked her to remove the fee or I just want to cancel the booking for everything, she would budge, I canceled the entire booking, what a ride they put us through, now my wife needs to find another flight to get home, jet star says theitr refunds take 2 weeks, thanks alot, thanks for nothing jet star, never again.
