Kansai Airport Terminal One Closure
Due to a severe Typhoon (Jebi)
in western Japan, Kansai International Airport (Osaka) Terminal 1, which all
Jetstar flights operate from, remains closed after it sustained significant
damage to facilities and operational equipment.
In light of this, all international Jetstar flights and the majority of
domestic Jetstar flights have been cancelled until 13 September
(inclusive). A full list of cancelled
flights is below.
If your flight has been cancelled, you will be contacted
directly via sms and email with alternative options. Please ensure that your contact details are up to date by visiting the
Manage My Booking page.
UPDATE #1: Jetstar Japan will operate a limited number of
domestic services from Terminal 2 from 12 September, prior to partial reopening
of Terminal 1. A list of the limited domestic services to operate on 12 and 13
September can be found below. All affected
passengers will be sent an sms and email informing you of the change.
Please note: trains to
Kansai International Airport are not currently running and there is restricted
access to private and rental cars. Shuttle bus services are available between
Rinku Town Station and Kansai International Airport. For more details, please
check the airport homepage https://www.kansai-airport.or.jp/en/. Terminal 2 may be congested as services

UPDATE #2: Kansai Airport has confirmed that Terminal 1 will
be partially reopen on 14 September. From
this day, Jetstar will be able to operate a very limited number of services. Once
these services are confirmed we will update this travel alert immediately and inform
affected passengers via sms and email.
