Flew with Jetstar on Tues 25th Feb. We did arrive 1 minute late my husband had a boarding pass already so he was ok. We tried the self check in but were told it had closed 1 minute ago. Waited to be seen at the counter, everyone in the line kindly let us go ahead of them. When we got to the check in lady she told us to go see her collegue who just flatly turned me down. My husband had to get on the flight, the next flight was not for 7 hours which we had to pay $100 for. My complaint is that this woman did nothing to try and help even though we are talking 1 minute! She did not care that I would have to sit for 7 hours in the airport. On our flight from Wellington to Auckland we saw staff calling people out of the line who were going to be late for their flights. We saw someone issued with a boarding pass at the gate. When we pointed this out, we were told different airports have different policies. Which makes not sense to me, so Jetstar have different rules depending on where you are flying from? Auckland need to look to their Wellington staff! We fly to Auckland around 8 times a year, we will never fly with Jetstar again. Their is no excuse for rudeness!

Do not fly Jetstar.................... They now do not accept foreign visa credit cards... How stupid is that. Spoke with House of Travel and they had 20 complaints last night, Well I hope they go bankrupt like Qantas will shortly do
Jetstar are a terrible
Jetstar are a terrible airline but as you said mate you were late, I have many posts here about this pathetic airline but you can't blame them if your late. Because I know how bad this mob are I show up 2hrs before the flight because they often have a nice surprise for you when you check in.

1 minute late or 1hr late - you were still late. Jetstar (along with every other airline) warns time after time not to be late. Can't blame them for this.
