4 Minutes Late for Checkin

I had a flight booked for me departing at 8:05am.
I left home at 6:45am, but got stuck in Motorway Traffic and then on Johns road, by the time I got into the Airport and attempted to check in it was 7:39.

The machine printed out a Ticket that stated "This is not a boarding pass, take it to the service desk"
So I take it to the check in counter and they tell me that its too late and that I will have pay extra and get the next flight over 2 hours later.

The crazy thing was there was still someone messing around checking in their luggage at this point and I had none at all and there was still 26mins before the plane left.

These staff have no empathy at all and just don't care.

I told them i'd come back in a few minutes about re booking the flight, as I needed to call my manager.

When I returned to rebook the flight all the Jetstar staff had vanished from the check in area, I looked all around the airport and couldn't find anyone so had to give up and leave as when I asked about a jet star office at the info desk I was informed they don't have one and that the staff are only around at check in time.

No sympathy you obviously have no idea the logistics it takes to get a plane off the ground... Its not as easy as a bus or train.. if they get the load sheets or balance wrong you could die... buy an alarm clock and get to the airport on time!!!

Yeah I agree, but why no staff around so I can re book my flight? that's what really annoyed me.
