Baggage Inconvenience

I am very disappointed by the level of customer service shown at the Jetstar check-in counters at Perth T4 Domestic Terminal. On Monday night, my flight was scheduled to depart for Sydney at 10:45pm. I had already checked-in online and received my SMS boarding pass in advance. I arrived at the airport at 10pm and proceeded to the automated check-in counters to be printed an official boarding pass and check-in my luggage. Due to a failure in the automated system, I was made to line up in a line where three other flights were checking in, being serviced by only three staff. By the time I reached a counter, I was told that the baggage drop had closed and that my luggage would not be sent to Sydney, and that I had to organise my own way of sending my luggage to Sydney. This is completely unacceptable considering I had arrived in time to check-in my luggage and paid for it! In addition, the automated check in counter displayed that my flight to Sydney was delayed by 30min and due to depart at 11:15pm instead of 10:45pm (I have evidence of this as I took photos of the automated machine). The lady that refused my luggage said her system did not show this delay. If perchance I had decided to go have a coffee, go to the toilet etc due to the displayed delay in the flight, I would have completely missed the flight. This has caused me much inconvenience with my luggage still stuck in Perth. I have never had such bad service by Jetstar. If this matter is not sorted to my satisfaction, I will not fly Jetstar again!

Dario. You have just been lucky up to now not to have experienced the unique service which you can only get from Jetstar. They always get you in the end. I am flabbergasted that the moron on the check in desk asked you to send your luggage yourself by another means. What a tosser. I was going to say "unbelievable" but suddenly realized that we are talking about Jetstar. Anything in believable. Just read the thousands of complaints on the jetstar web site. Good luck with your luggage and don't fly Jetstar ever again. They don't deserve your loyalty.
