Bali To Perth Night Flight Screw Around Takes The Cake!

My partner and I were booked and waiting for the 2:30am flight to Perth from Denpasar, Bali. 2:30 came and went. With no notices, announcements,nothing.
Then we were notified it was delayed until 4am something. Then we were told around 3:30 it was cancelled.
We then had to wait in queues until 5:15am to get rebooked on alternate flights.
Some would go Bali-Brisbane-Perth. At 10:30pm. With a 2hr stop over in a Brissie. Arriving in Perth at 11:45am Saturday morning. Over 30hrs after our original arrival time.
Some of the other passengers opted for and earlier departure from Denpasar. Via Melbourne. Which would arrive in Perth at 9:30am Saturday morning. After a short 8hr stop over in Melbourne.
We have been given accommodation at the Mercure Bali Legion Hotel. With a $30 food voucher each.
We have also just seen our 10:30pm flight has been delayed until 2am. Getting into Brisbane at 9:25. A full hour after our connecting flight to Perth leaves....

There are over 60 of us in the Brisbane boat....

And the same number in the Melbourne boat....

Absolutely mind blowing stuff in the 21st century.

And I, for one, will NEVER EVER fly Jetstar again. And will try my utmost to also avoid Jetstars parent companies planes as well. As both are equally to blame in my opinion.

Had to book our own flights...Using Jetstar....

Hopefully we get home some 57hrs after we were originally due to land...

P.s Jetstar have sent us each a $25 voucher to use on our next booking.... Lol

We arrived home finally. And also received another voucher each. For the 2nd cancellation I think.
But unless we have ABSOLUTELY NO OTHER CHOICE. I will not touch Jetstar or their parent airline again.

The current 'Customers Can Go Get Stuffed' business model is doomed to failure.
But I guess only through failure will this Airline learn.

I hope they go the way of the Do-Do.

A friend a myself were on the

A friend a myself were on the same flight as you, we flew Denpaser-Melbourne-Perth. We got into Melbourne around 10.30pm. Jetstar told us that there would be a bus waiting for us in Melbourne to take us to a hotel that night. When we arrived in Melbourne there was no jetstar people around so we phoned them, after a hour or more of arguing with them they told us someone was waiting upstairs for us in the airport! We went up there and jetstar told us that they had been calling us over the PA, we never heard a thing! They ended up telling us there was a bus waiting for us, so we went down to the bus pickup and there was no bus! Jetstar was supposed to ring them and let them no we were outside waiting! We ended up finding a number and ringing the bus ourselves! They picked us up at 1am that morning! We had a few hours in the hotel in Melbourne before catching the bus at 5.30 to get back to the airport to catch our flight to Perth at 7.30!! We will never fly jetstar again
