thanks jetsar for leaving us stranded in singapore a week and change ago. we bought tickets 5 months ago to fly singapore to christchurch, via melbourne 6 hr stop over then to auckland then to christchurch. we had a flight with cebu pacific from cebu to singapore, due to fly on the saturday night to nz, i noticed an email from jetsar on the friday night saying they had cancelled the flight to auckland and we now had a stop over in melbourne for 17.5 hours, the limit in australia is 8 hours in a transit lounge without a transit visa. i call jetsar and end up speaking to a call centre in manila, spent almost 3 hours on skype trying to explain to someone who knew absolutely nothing about the rules and regulations of international air travel, they said we cant reroute you because your tickets are not allowed to do this, we cant put you on another airline because we dont do that, they kept saying there is nothing we can do but give you a full refund (and wash our hands of you). i checked around for tickets on another airline at the last minute singapore airlines were an extra 2600$ more than what we had paid at jetstar so long ago, we ended up buying tickets with malaysian airlines and then had to pay a premium for tickets from auckland to christchurch with none other than jetstar, so much for buying tickets at the last minute, wonder if jetstar has any thoughts on how they affect peoples lives when they just change their minds at the last minute and leave their so called valued customers stranded and out of pocket. jetstar you have had our custom for the last time, will prefer in future to book with an airline that has some integrity, that is able to be contacted via other than some cheap call center where people are unable to make any diecision. be sure jetstar i will be checking to see if your refund comes through, somehow i fear this will be as great as the experience we had with our trip with you from singapore to ch ch that never happened unfortunately i cannot write down the exact words of anger i feel towards you jetstar and your company, i feel that a days notice is not a fair cop to cancel a flight when jetstar would have known weeks in advance , maybe they like this as then people have to buy at the last minute and pay5 times the price like the ticket i bought with then auckland to christchurch for 4 times the regular price, i just bought tickets to return to the philipines and guess what no routes with jestar, maybe one day they will awake just before they go broke.
by the way the service and space on malaysian airlines was first rate, budget isnt best

We went Air NZ to HKG then to Cebu on Tiger. And return. Smooth travel experience. Air NZ great. Would never book Jet Star. Hopefully they will go out of business.

I hope Jetstar go out of business due to extremely notorious service! They not only cancelled our family holiday flights at the last minute but Also insulted us in very coarse language and disgustingly found a fake witness to say we said that!! A bunch of the faceless liars!!! We sued them and got our fare back.
