Disappointing

Extremely Disappointed in Jetstar. We travelled to the Gold Coast from Melbourne on flight JQ440, and couldn't have been more appalled. Before we even got on the flight, we had to stand in a cue for 55 minutes to check our bags in even after we had done a web check in... What a waste of time! Jetstar should really take a leaf out of virgins book when it comes to streamlining their checkin process(Virgin self checkin less than 30m away had almost no cue whatsoever) additionally, as soon as we got on the plane, we couldn't have been less impressed. The plane was completely dirty and after taking a seat we immediately noticed crumbs on the floor and seats, rubbish and lolly wrappers in the pockets on the back of the chairs, and the chair in front of me and the tray table even had (what I'm presuming is) chocolate sauce splattered all over it! If this wasn't enough we then got off only to find my bag (as well as at least 3 others from the plane) hadn't even made it on the flight! There was even a man I was talking to who had been waiting since the PREVIOUS flight, and still hadn't found his bag. I understand Jetstar had had a few issues with the conveyer belts or something at the Melbourne terminal, but we would have at least appreciated being told our bags (mine which has things I actually need to use) hadn't made it onto the flight. Very disappointing.

Its really a shame that this goes on, and the problem is that most people don't realize what a crap Airline JetStar is until they have a problem. I really have made it my business to post the dontflyjetstar.com link anywhere and everywhere I can, my New Years resolution is to try and warn more people about the Airline.

Good New Years resolution

Good New Years resolution Frank. I made it my life time resolution to expose this shonky airline to the world. There are some on this forum who unlike me and you think that the sun shine from the Jetstar management backside and since they are an AUSTRALIAN company employing Australian staff that we should blindly support and praise them for their disgusting service. Well, I say let the crummy organization go to the dogs and everyone of the bastards who make up this airline loose their jobs. Its the people that make up the company and would I have sympathy for the arsehole who grins in glee when a passenger misses his flight ?. Absolutely not. These imbeciles should stand next to a Virgin counter and see how their staff handle customers. They should listen to Telstra call center staff and hear how they handle customer complaints.

I also, like you, made it my resolution to expose this despicable company 4 year ago when I took them to court and have been campaigning against them all these years. There are more and more people every week thinking the same as me and you and are also passing the message on. Hopefully we will see the demise of Jetstar soon.
