Discrimination

After booking business class seat months ago to Honolulu with a departure date tomorrow, was rung by jetstR today to be informed that they have over booked, this was a lie, was then told computer glitch, were we bumped off because we have a young child,?? Am guessing this is the case, am after others that this may have happened to to see if some sort of class action can be taken

Lauren I'd check flights

Lauren I'd check flights tomorrow and see if the thing actually takes off. Then seek compensation for your lost accommodation fees etc + lost time at work if you have to reschedule annual leave. I hope you had travel insurance too?

That's actually happened to

That's actually happened to us before with them as well

Got to Christchurch airport

Got to Christchurch airport on Sept 30 for a 7pm flight to Auckland. 100+ people waiting to check in and then eventually a rumour goes around that flight has been cancelled. I ring call centre and I'm told to come back in the morning and that I would need to organise my own accommodation. I was promised a $100 travel voucher within 3 days, I'm still waiting. DONT FLY JETSTAR ! They do this regularly. The replacement flight was 30 mins late as was my fight down to Christchurch. I talked to people at my work and found out that my experience not unusual at all. They even didnt change their check in times to align with daylight saving a few weeks ago. They lie and they give you the run around,

This is a definite case of

This is a definite case of discrimination!
Do you think the same thing happens on any other (more respectable) airline?
No. It wont.
Only on jetstar will you find such blatent fuck-arounds and lame excuses.
