I flew from Melbourne to Adelaide. Pretty straightforward. Arrived in Adelaide NO luggage. Spoke to the Jetstar ground crew and he couldnt have been more non caring if thats possible. Anyway after several phone calls and emails Jetstar responded with "your bag has arrived and we'll deliver it tomorrow" Didnt arrive. Next day " your bag will be delivered today" and it did. Completely wrecked. My $600 Leather bag was ruined with a broken strap scratched all over and the tag holder broken. Contacted Jetstar and filled out numerous feedback forms and lost baggage/damaged luggage forms and was informed that someone would be back to me within 5 working days. That was over a month ago. Since then I have written numerous requests for follow up or contact and nothing I MEAN NOTHING has been returned. There is definitely a problem with this airline that simply doesnt rate customers worthy of respect or follow up.

My nephew arrived from Singapore to Perth about 3 hours ago via Jetstar. As expected, Jetstar lost his luggage. At least he handcarried the christmas gifts to his friends He was given a a file reference to follow status. As usual, Jetstar policy is### "DON'T CALL US, WE'LL CALL YOU" and "IN THE MEANTIME TOURISTS CAN WALK AROUND AUSTRALIA IN THEIR UNDIES AND THONGS"###.. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! WAKE UP JETSTAR!!!

My first comment is nothing compared to this. After being dicked around by Jetstar and their complete disregard for my requests to contact me I finally got the 131538 number and contacted them. Got some phonecentre in the Phillipines and after waiting for 20 minutes was advised that Jetstar are ever so sorry and 100 apologies. A claims agent will contact me by email to commence my claim. 2 days later no email so I ring again.Same bullshit ever so sorry 1000 apologies but my claim number was changed so thats why no contact. I stated that the number may have changed but my email hasnt. Very sorry an agent will contact you by email in 4 hours. 8 hours later I ring back MOre bullshit. " I cant answer that but an agent will contact you within 45 minutes by email 1,000,000 apologies" Guess What. 24 hours later Im still waiting so I just rang and explained everything again so may I speak to claims not you passing on messages. Sure can. Waited another 40 minutes while the telecentre girl kept apologising then I get " They arent answering because there is an error on their end" Please someone hit me in the head with a brick. JETSTAR are completely and utterly disgusting.

Good luck, my luggage was lost somewhere in transit, Saigon to Singapore then onto Perth. I physically went back to airport to see what was happening with my luggage could get no answers! I have phoned the Phillipino contact Centre numerous times and I mean numerous as I can't even remember how many! I am always told to hold the line after asking a question about my luggage and its whereabouts as the advisors on the line know jackshit except how to apologise to you. It has been nearly three weeks and no knowledge as to where my luggage is after persistently calling every day and getting the same, "NO" answer! Get this shit, I finally receive an email from Jetstar asking me if they have found my luggage yet and restored it to me? WTF? Do they not liase with each other after all they are the same company!!!???? I got told that same day after I got through not on the baggage line but on the feedback line that it was still being traced! I could go on! I don't care about the luggage anymore, I have asked numerous times on phone and via email just for documentation from Jetstar stating that my luggage is currently lost so I can forward this onto my travel insurance company to receive some sort of compensation. I was told early last week that I'd get an email document in 48 hrs, that was a lie, called back after 48 hrs and was told it would take 3 to 5 business days for this email now and of course, it has been 6 business days that have passed and no email. I told them it needs to be only two lines of bla bla bla's luggage is currently lost. That's f###in it! Will never fly JERKSTAR again and have researched and got legal advice, if my luggage is not found within the next week, it is deemed lost and I will probably recieve a measly $400 compensation for it compared to probably the $3000 contents of it! But if they can prove the loss wasn't their fault somehow, I get jackshit! Also don't count on getting the things you order as extras via the website like meals etc as I did not recieve my meal even though I showed them a PDF copy of the invoice emailed to me. The answer I got was, "Sorry we have no documentation on our side of that, you'll have to call the customer service line and take it up with them!" F###in joke!

My Last Comment. After 20 emails and as many phone calls I was advised that FUCKSTAR would email me within 48 hours with an outcome of my claim. SO what did I get. An email stating that if I want to claim against lost or damaged bags please get a quote or copies of statements of purchase and forward to Jetstar. This is the third time this has been requested after I have sent explanations and several photos of the damaged bag. I wrote back and advised that I would not be proceeding any further as this is SIMPLY a waste of my time and energy. Biggest problem is Ive paid for my wife and our 2 sons and partners to fly to Thailand in March and in honesty Id rather walk just to show Jetstar the contempt I have for their service. Afetr March I will never fly with them again They are a disgrace with the customer service equal to None. They have NONE
