Incompetence made us miss our connecting flight

We booked in a fly a friend for free sale from Melbourne to Singapore and then from Singapore to Bali, both with jetstar as a connecting flight. We were delayed an hour due to an issue with cargo and were told after we had boarded so we were stuck on the plane for the hour. We then were told we were good to go, taxi'd out onto the runway ready to take off and then were told there was an issue with cabin air conditioning. We had to go back to standing position and it took another hour and 20 minutes for engineers to trouble shoot the problem. This caused my friend and I to miss our flight (which we had an hour an a half to connect) to Bali. We now can't get another flight until tomorrow which means we have to spend the night on Singapore airport floor. Do jetstar give a shit? No. Are jetstar offering any consolation? Don't be silly. Never again will I fly jetstar internationally. I should have just forked out the extra $200 to fly with a decent airline and I'd be there now. I am still sitting on the Tarmac waiting.

I joined Jetclub because my friend assured me we would get great deals exclusive to members ....
Previously I was a Jetmail member and regularly received there emails with the special or sale offers.

Since joining jetclub I have not received a single email, except the "welcome to jetclub" and missed out on one special members sale.
I have spoken with call centre in the Phils and they say it seems ok, I have emailed jetstar and had the standard "its your fault it must be going into your junk folder or your haven't set your prefences properly"
Whilst I have been polite I have responded and pointed out that my preference settings have not been changed, their response email didn't go to my junk email so could they please look into it. After 10 days no response so I emailed again and had a similar response from the Manager, its all my fault they say.
So now am writing to them at their Melbourne address seeking a refund and advising that I will be their best publicist for their complete lack of service.
