To not bother you to long i will keep our long story short as I can
With our experience with Jetstar we have been
- Charged for excess baggage that wasn't excess in Honolulu. The Jetstar Call Centre advised us that we had extra baggage that somehow didn't show up on the Jetstar employees computer (spiked 8 kilos with no change in connecting flight) in Sydney
- Arrived at the airport at 4:00AM to have a 16 hour delay with no notification
- 2 hour delay in Melbourne, after being notified 4 hours before our flight however because we had a connecting international flight in Sydney we had to call the call centre to have an even more inconvenient time of half an hour before our original time and arrive at the airport to have another 1 hour delay
- Jetstar changed our seats in Sydney to the last row on the plane, even after we paid extra to purchase seats at the front of the plane
- Putting an 11 year old by himself 30 rows away from us on a plane in Sydney
- After arriving in Sydney having to wait half an hour to disembark the plane because of no steps
- Having an insufficient amount of time for connecting flight in Sydney (running across the airport to catch the T-Bus from International to Domestic to find a line of about 150 people at the Jetstar counter having 30 seconds until our check in time closes)
- A very difficult, non-English call centre with a lack of clear communication in Honolulu, Meblourne, Sydney and the Pacific Ocean
