jetstar policies lack transparency

I booked flights earlier in the year for flights to Perth and return to Melbourne for my ex-partner and myself. I made all the bookings, it was my contact details, my account they took the money from however, when I went to change passenger details for the flight from my ex to my son, all of a sudden they throw another hidden clause which is not indicated on their fair rules statement which you agree to before paying for the fare, see following.

Passenger Name Changes
Permitted upon payment of the applicable Change Fee and Fare Difference within Change Deadline.
Name changes can be made for an individual passenger on a booking, but must apply to all flights for that passenger.
Name changes are not permitted for Qantas Frequent Flyer Points Plus Pay – Flight bookings on Jetstar or JAL Mileage Bank bookings.

All of a sudden, I was not allowed to make the change for an individual booking on the itinerary that I owned and paid for. All of a sudden they come out with these hidden policies. This company takes delight in making you feel like a fool and that the blame lies in the customer. Their customer care service should be more appropriately names, Customer I don’t Care Service. I never intent to spend one more dollar towards a company who lack transparency and happy to engage in deceiving their customers. You will never see the colour of my money, and I hope Jetstar and the so called Australian icon, Qantas both go out of service. I prefer to pay more for an airfare than support a low life company.
It’s interesting that Coles get fined for deceiving their customers in relation to how their bread is made, but airlines can get away with this sort of behaviour.

I recently purchased 2 return

I recently purchased 2 return tickets to Phuket for my son and his girlfriend for January. The return tickets were approx $1300 each. The relationship ended and we decided to take along one of his friends instead. I called Jetstar to make the name change on the ticket, they charged me $842! There was no change of flights, times or seats, just the name. I was expecting an administration fee for the change but the amount charged seems criminal. No airline should be able to get away with this type of extortion.

I have face the worst service

I have face the worst service ever in jet star. I came from melbourne to gold coast 12 December with my wife and my mom dad. I carried 7 kg each. And i brought my camera and labtop with me. And my mom has a samll hand bag.

When we fly from melbourne to gold coast they count only my 4 luggage that 28 kg altogether. They didn't count lab top and camera and my mom hand bag.

But when i am coming back from gold coast to melbourne they count everything. The front desk person told me this is not melbourne this is gold coast. How ridiculous this is.

I am working in qantas. My asic number 65419c. My flight number jq439. Flight time 2.45pm 17 December from gold coast to melbourne. The people said to me if you want to go you can miss the flight. His expression like jet star appointed him for making money not service. Not a smile in face.

Plz dont fly with jet star. The most worst service in austrlia tiger air is much more better than jet star.
