Lost baggage

I travelled on JQ 542 from Adelaide to Gold Coast on 14th November 2012 and Jetstar lost my bag. I was at the beginning of the carousel when it started up and my bag just never came off and there was no bag left going around, so it was evident that no-one had taken mine by accident. Arriving in Gold coast for a business trip and a plan to stay on for the weekend for a catch up with friends, I had nothing. Dealing with Jetstar staff on the phone was the most frustrating thing I've ever had to experience. My bag still to today has never arrived and my payment from Jetstar of $1600 (in line with Aviation carrier’s law) is all they are liable for, still has not been paid.
I will never fly Jetstar again!!! Whilst the staff on the flight were lovely, the support has been the worst I have ever experienced from any organisation. On a recent call I asked where they were at with locating my bag and they advised they had sent emails to all ports. When I questioned which ports had responded, only 5 had and you guessed it, they hadn't even bothered to follow up the rest.
Please think before you fly Jetstar......I lost things in that bag that just can't be replaced!!

I also had my bag lost. Of the 3 times I flew, Jetstar lost it 2 times. Both times was when Jetstar offered to check it through. (Saigon - Singapore - Darwin)
The last time they lost it and couldn't find it.
I had to wait around 5-6months for the money.
For me to get a response from someone I had to send abusive emails constantly, Just spamming the email address until finally a lady called me up, Basically told me the same lines that I had been getting (Did you get the .pdf files with a printed off reply?) Then she asked me about my abusive emails and I just told her I don't apologize at all for those, It got the result I was after as you called me.
