Have flown with jetstar a few times now and havent had any problems until today...
Booked a flight from Chch to Auckland for Feb next year and while i was booking the flight,it ended my time due to inactivity which was fine.Went to rebook the details and accidentally put in Jan 2013 instead of Feb 2013...
Didnt realise until today and i rang the 0800 number to see if someone could help me.
Turns out it was going to cost me $70 per person per flight to change my date of flight just by a month...that was $280 for it all.Bit steep especially when i only paid $170 for the flights in the first place.Then to top it off,the guy on the phone was sooo rude.
Does anyone know of any places to get hold of her in new zealand so i could maybe get refunded or anything like that.$280 is wayyy too much to be paying for a honest mistake.
Making an honest mistake should not cost you!!

I did exactly the same thing today. Booked flights home from Hamilton island to Sydney and accidentally booked it for wednesday the week after. Less than 20 minutes it took for me to realize and I called them straight away and they too informed me that I couldn't cancel and that it would cost me $70 + added amount of changed flight per person which came to $280. I tried to explain that it was simply a mistake and that I literally did it 20 minutes ago and all he said was "well you should've paid more attention" Rude and unforgiving. Will be calling flight centre in the morning as I booked through them, hopefully they may be able to sort something out for me as for some reason it is cheaper to change flights through them?! If not will leave it and book with virgin blue instead... Flights $130pp, less than what I'll have to pay tp change flights and I won't have to fly with this joke of an airline.
