I'M TRYING TO GET A CASH REFUND FOR THIS FLIGHT AS I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH A TERMINAL ILLNESS. JETSTAR OFFERED ME VOUCHERS. I TOLD THEM THAT THEY WERE OF NO USE TO ME AS I WOULD NOT BE FLYING AGAIN. SO THE FELLOW SAID THAT I SHOULD GET A LETTER FROM THE DOCTER AT THE HOSPITAL TO THIS EFFECT. MY RESPONSE WAS THAT I'D HAVE TO WAIT TILL MY NEXT APPOINTMENT & HE SEEMED A TAD UNHAPPY ABOUT THAT. ONCE OBTAINING THE LETTER I TRIED TO EMAIL IT THROUGH WITH THE CASE NUMBER HE'D GIVEN ME. THIS PROVED UNSUCCESFUL SO AFTER MANY CALLS TO JETSTAR I FINALLY OBTAINED A FAX NUMBER TO FAX IT TO. I'VE SPOKEN TO SO MANY CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE THERE THAT I'VE LOST COUNT. THEY ALL TELL ME THAT THEY CAN'T PUT ME THROUGH TO CUSTOMER CARE BUT THEY CAN EMAIL THEM AND GET THEM TO CALL ME. WHAT A JOKE......NEVER, YES NEVER DO THEY CALL. I RECKON I'LL BE SIX FEET UNDER WHEN THE CALL COMES THROUGH!
ALL I CAN SAY IS THEY ARE AWFULLY UNHELPFUL & MY CASE REALLY HAS PROGRESSED NO FURTHER. I'D GO SO FAR AS TO SAY THEY THAT THEY REALLY DON'T CARE A DAMM & THEY ARE TOTALLY MISLEADING.
COME ON JETSTAR, PULL UP YOUR SOCKS AND CREATE SOMETHING CALLED A " SOCIAL CONSCIENCE ". YOUR BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS ME SO FAR HAS DEMONSTRATED THAT YOU & YOUR STAFF ARE CLUELESS IN THIS DOMAIN.

WELL CALL IT LUCK, SERENDIPITOUS OR CHANCE! A FEW MINUTES AFTER POSTING MY COMPLAINT I RECEIVED A CALL FROM CUSTOMER CARE AT JETSTAR. DO THEY READ THESE COMPLAINTS AS THEY ARE POSTED? WEIRD!!! WELL THEY SORTED OUT THE WHOLE MATTER WITHIN A MATTER OF MINUTES & I'VE BEEN PROMISED A FULL REFUND BACK INTO MY CREDIT CARD. THIS HAS BEEN WINDING ON FOR OVER A MONTH & NOW SUDDENLY IT'S ALL RESOLVED. WELL THAT'S A GREAT RESULT IN SO SHORT A TIME SINCE POSTING ON YOUR WEBSITE. HOORAY!!!
