Hi everones,
Never gonna fly Jetstar again, why?
I booked a last minutes flight on New Year eve for my daughter to fly from Manila to SG. I knew about this credit card sighting issue by all these cheap & budget airlines but it's okay to us. I email my photocopy of IDs & Credit Card to my daughter but she was stop at Manila airport for boarding, she called me and I sent my son with my ID & credit card to Changi airport Jetstar counter for verification but again told by Changi Jetstar staff that I have to come personally to verify it.
I understand that they are following order and they won't change it even if I knee down to beg them. My daughter had missed the flight and I paid SGD$600 for her flight.
I promise myself and I've tells all my friends about it. I knew many people in SG cos I am working for the media. I won't fly Jetstar every again and I am sure there are many people who also faces my problem and won't be flying Jetstar anymore.
So Jetstar every days have being losing customer and lets see how many customer they'll be losing for one year...?
Other budget airline allow photo copy of credit card sighting but not this Jetstar airline. Lets hope other passenger will have a better luck than but I don't think so... I was a New Year dinner in a hotel few hours ago and I spoke to many people from the media and most of them either have heard of this problem or encounter this problem by Jetstar to their customer. And most of them have vow never again fly Jetstar....!

Michael, it's clearly in
Michael, it's clearly in their terms and conditions when you book. I can understand your upset - but it's their rules to prevent credit card fraud. Every Jetstar flight in and out of Singapore requires personal credit card verification. You are specifically reminded about this in your confirmation and boarding reminder. Jetstar often reminds Singapore customers by SMS about credit card verification. Why did you not take heed of this Michael? Why should you be treated differently. This is YOUR fault, not Jetstars
