NO THANKYOU KURT!MY HOLIDAY WAS NOT DISRUPTED IT DID NOT HAPPEN.HOWEVER MY PARTNER HOLIDAY WAS DISRUPTED HAS HE DECIDED NOT TO TRAVEL WITHOUT ME!YOUR NOT TRULY SORRY AND THERE WAS A YOUNG FEMALE GROUND STAFF WHO WAS NOT SORRY AT ALL DUE TO HER CUSTOMER SERVICE!HOWEVER THERE WAS A YOUNG LADY AT THE CHECK IN WHO WAS SINCERE AND TRULEY WANTED TO HELP!SHE ASKED ME THAT I SHOULD OF RECIEVED AN EMAIL FROM JETSTAR A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE TRAVELLING REGARDING THIS.NO EMAIL WAS SENT TO ME!WHY?OF COURSE I WOULD NOT BOOK A FLIGHT IF I KNEW ABOUT THIS BEFORE HAND!I THINK THIS SITUATION HAPPENS ALOT DUE TO PEOPLE BOOKING ON LINE,DIFFERENT COUNTRIES HAVING DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS!IF JET STAR TRUELY CARED ABOUT PEOPLE THEY WOULD WHEN YOU ENTER YOUR PASSPORT DETAILS IT WOULD COME UP ERROR PLEASE CHECK COUNTRY REQUIREMENTS!ALSO IM TRYING TO UNDERSTAND WHY JETSTAR DOES NOT HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS,ASK TO SPEAK TO A MANANGER AND NO OFFICE ADDRESS....THIS IS WHAT WAS SAID TO ME ON THE PHONE WHEN I SPLOKE TO A JETSTAR REPRESENTATIVE!YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM ME AGAIN!REGARDS MELISSA
THANKS ANNA FOR YOUR SUPPORT!THANKS ANGELA WILL BE RESPONDING!ANGUS THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW ABOUT THIS WEBSITE AND IM SURE U HAVE WELL INFORMED OTHER PEOPLE NOW!THIS MORNING WE CHECKED OTHER AIRLINES ON LINE!AIR ASIA CLEARLY STATES THE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS BEFORE ENTERING THIS COUNTRY WITH A POP UP BLOCK 6 MONTHS VALID PASSPORT BEFORE IT ACCEPTS BOOKING/PAYMENT!TIGER AIRWAYS CLEARLY STATES THE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS BEFORE ENTERING THIS COUNTRY BEFORE ACCEPTING BOOKING/PAYMENT!WHY NOT JETSTAR..?!THE LADY AT THE AIRPORT SAID THAT THERE WOULD OF BEEN A QUESTION ASKING DO YOU HAVE AVALID PASSPORT FOR 6 MONTHS AND WE MUST OF TICKED THE YES BOX THERE WAS NO QUESTION ASKING US THIS WHEN WE BOOKED WE WOULD NOT BE IN THIS SITUATION IF THERE WAS!I RANG AND SPOKE WITH A LADY TODAY WHO WORKS FOR THE GOVERNMENT PASSPORT OFFICE TODAY AND SHE SAID BECAUSE MY PASSPORT HAS NOT EXPIRED I JUST HAVE TO RENEW IT IT COULD TAKE UP TO 48 HOURS OR IF I HAD KNOWN ABOUT THIS THE DAY I WAS FLYNG I COULD OF CAME TO THE OFFICE IN THE CITY AND APPLY FOR A RENEWAL PASSPORT EMERGENCY FEE AND I COULD OF FLOWN THAT DAY OR RE SCHEDULE ANOTHER FLIGHT ON THAT SAME DAY AND WE WOULD NOT BE IN THIS SITUATION NOW!WE RANG EXPEDIA YESTERDAY AND THEY SAID WHEN WE MAKE A BOOKING EXPEDIA DO NOT KEEP PASSPORT DETAILS THAT THEY PASS THAT INFORMATION TO THE AIRLINES!THE LADY WHO HELPED ME WITH THE PASSPORT THIS MORNING SAID THAT THIS HAPPENS ALOT PEOPLE ARE NOT AWARE OF THIS AND DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AVE DIFFERENT REQUIREMENTS!MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE BOOKING ON LINE IT SHOULD BE UP TO AIRLINES TO HAVE UPDATE INFORMATION CLEARLY STATING THE LEGAL REQUIREMENTS BEFORE ACCEPTING BOOKING/PAYMENT!AIR ASIA AND TIGER AIR WAYS DOES!I ASK THE QUESTION AGAIN WHY NOT JET STAR?!I THINK JET STAR NEED TO STEP UP TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE/CARE IF THEY TRUELY CARE ABOUT THIER CUSTOMERS AND REPUTATION!

WHAT THEY CAN HAVE IS WHAT AIR ASIA AND TIGER AIRWAYS WHEN U BOOK FLIGHTS BEFORE ACCEPTING/PAYMENT SEE FOR YOURSELF.I WANT THE PUBLIC TO KNOW ABOUT THIS SO THAT WHAT HAPPENED TO MY PARTNER AND MYSELF WON'T HAPPEN TO OTHER PEOPLE.THEY WOULD HAVE LESS COMPLAINTS AND MORE SATISFIED AND HAPPY CUSTOMERS ISN'T THIS WHAT THEY WANT?!WHAT IT COMES DOWN TO IS CUSTOMER SERVICE/CARE!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, assuming your issue here is visas, why would you travel internationally without bothering to check visa requirements? An airline shouldn't have to hold your hand through each step of the booking process. You're an adult, though your grammar suggests otherwise.
