Paid for flight by P.O.L.I, did not receive an email confirmation of flight. 1 hr 6 min on phone. Asked repetitive stupid questions. Told to seek refund. No, you find my money. Repetitively asked for booking number (did not receive) bla bla bla. I sent Jetstar a copy of the payment from my account, this is the reply

Paying by POLi to Jetstar is
Paying by POLi to Jetstar is akin to leaving your valet with a thief. You have no come back if they claim they can't find your payment. Your money is in their bank account and its up to you to prove that they got it. Figure out how you are going to do that with Jetstar customer service in Manilla. Just the thought makes me puke.
Credit cards may be more expensive (day light robbery) but st least you have the assurance that you can prove they have it and if necessary you can dispute the contract and get your money back from the credit provider.
Good luck Mike. It's a start if a long and frustrating experience for you. Keep my fingers crossed for you that at the end if it you have some hair left.
I've had the same thing
I've had the same thing happen to me. Simple process to get my money back - One phone call, they sent an email confirmation and requested my bank details. Not difficult at all. No thieving, not difficult 'Manilla' phone calls. Just pleasant business like service. POLI failed, stuffed up my booking - I finished booking with Virgin (ironically late). Just treat people like you want to be treated and you should not have a problem.
