I had reason to change my flights. I had booked to see a friend who was dying but had to cancel my trip at short notice but did not know what dates to change it to as I did not have a funeral date. As most of these complaints highlight, the Phillipines call centre just work off rote with no idea how to be creative or do anything outside of the "rules". They wanted me to pay change fees twice. I found a way to escalate this issue to Jetstar Melbourne and they have been most helpful in allowing me to change the flight without double penalties. There is a way you see and the outcome in this instance was very positive for me and they were most helpful.
