Ripped off

Tried to book online...time elapsed..yeah right. tried again..didnt work. Phoned customer service. They claimed my booking dates were wrong and needed to charge me an extra $75...yeah right. I said I was reporting them to the ACCC. That got her attention said go to dropdown box onsite and change dates and will only cost $40. She said that a good deal otherwise if I cancel I loose all my money. I had no choice so did this. Please note that my booking dates were correct on the dropdown. You have to say this is a ploy to get extra money from you. What happened to the good old days when the customer was the most important part of your business. Jetstar marks out of 10...0

Similar thing happened to me. I tried to book online, it froze up, (after I had put my CC details in of course). Nothing happened so after a few days I made alternative travel plans. 9 days after I had tried to book, I got a confirmation email and they had taken the money from my CC. I also rang customer service, I had to fill in a form, then I had to wait for a letter to come from Australia. They declined refunding me my money, so I had to travel with their crap airline. Never again.
