The payment screen was followed by the homepage after I clicked to submit the payment. So I try to go back and book the flight again and of course the flights I want are no longer on sale. I called the call centre and after an insulting $50 voucher offer (the difference between sale and non-sale flights was of course much more than this), they said all they can do is lodge a feedback form. Pathetic. And it's not the first time I've been ripped off by their website. If you have an option to pay with POLi and it doesn't work, then why provide it?

I hear so many people being
I hear so many people being ripped off by the POLi payment system. With the credit card at least you have some protection from Jetstar's fraudulent activities. You can dispute the service and have a very good chance of getting a refund immediately. I did and I was refunded within a day. Jetstar encourages people to pay by POLi because they have full control of the money from the minute you confirm the payment. They can (and do frequently) claim that they never received the money, even if you show them the receipt. And there is nothing you can do about it. The money is in their account and you are in the hands of the imbeciles in their overseas call center who can mess you around until you give up.
I tried to book return
I tried to book return Melbourne to Sydney but Jetstar website would not allow payment by Visa due to "unidentified error"I tired agin twicw and then gave up as the site said I was to pay $0 for the return flght so clearly someting was wrong with the payment system.I booked same flight with another company and checked my bank details-Jetstar had taken 361.72$ from my account for booking I could not pay for online. They then sent me an email asking for me to complete booking online even though they had taken funds from my bank.I spent over two hours trying to get thru to Jetstar and it was impossible.Appaling situation and no redress-they have taken my funds without completing booking-what to do now?
