Last Saturday night I boarded a return flight from Sydney to Melbourne. The flight attendant barked "turn your phone off" as I was in the process of doing so. He returned to my seat and rudely told me that next time I should turn the phone off in the terminal before boarding the aircraft. There is absolutely no need to speak to customers in this manner. The aircraft was still boarding passengers and I was trying to do the right thing. Appalling customer service.

It's common knowledge to have your phone off on a flight, and personally if I had been refered to as a 'psycho' I would not be pleased either. Both parties were in the wrong, but what your sister said was incredibly rude.
