WE CALLED THE ACCC AND INFORMED THEM THAT WHEN YOU GO TO JETSTAR WEBSITE AND CLICK CONTACT US THEN CLICK SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN CUSTOMER CARE IT COMES UP THE PHONE NUMBER 131538..... WHICH IS THEIR CALL CENTRE. SOMEWHERE IN MALAYSIA OR THE PHILAPHINES... AND THEY ALL TELL YOU THE SAME THING... SORRY WE CANT HELP YOU.. AND 'NO' WE DO NOT HAVE A NUMBER FOR CUSTOMER CARE!!! THIS IS GROSSLY MISLEADING ..... THE GENTLEMAN AT ACCC SAID.... IF ENOUGH PEOPLE CALL ACCC WITH THIS SAME COMPLAINT.. IF THEY GET ENOUGH CALLS.. THEY HAVE TO INVESTIGATE!!!! The general number can send a request for customer care to call you back, which generally takes 3-5 days. You can also send a letter, or a website submission which will get a response. On the phone, if you had asked for a supervisor, they too would make sure you are contacted back by customer care.

I also sent a letter... and i did a submission through Jetstar website 3 times!! i also asked to speak to a superviser many many times!! Sometimes they just hung up on me or put me through to a supervisor that kept repeating
"i cannot help you" over and over again! It has now been a month.... still no word???????

Are you kidding? They cancel far more flights, they are delayed more often, they have less services they can move you to if you're delayed, and they sting you for higher fees than Jetstar does. Hell, my mate is cabin crew for Tiger and they even make their employees pay for parking at the airport. No other major airline does. So what exactly is it thats better about them?

4. Tiger has a small fleet, you cant expect them to be on-time all the time, that is why they have a 45 minute cut off period. Virgin Blue started off just the same with 2 planes, same odeal so i suggest you think before you speak. This website exists because of one man who wasn't satisfied with the outcome of his complaint to the Jetstar customer relations department. He has since publicised the site on facebook and probably various other places as he has nothing better to do. If you take the time to look up Tiger on facebook you will find very similar complaints to these on I Hate Tiger type facebook groups. If one of those people would start a website like this, it would be just as busy as this site. You actually just gave me a very good idea - maybe I should start the site so more of your bogan hillbillies can post yoir Tiger complaints.
You raise a very good point about "stupid people" who think they can get on when they are 1 min late. Those same stupid people are the ones who don't read their fare rules and the conditions of carriage before booking and then complain about it when something happens such as being late or not getting the seats they want. I don't care if its a 45 min closing time or 30 mins, I have seen statistics and they cancel/delay more flights. And since you mention about the smaller fleet, Jetstar has a small fleet than Qantas and Virgin so I guess you're saying its to be expected that they can't be on time all the time? Perhaps you are the one who needs to think before speaking. Have you seen the Tiger Airways show on TV? The staff deal with the same shit from bogans that Jetstar staff deal with.
