Mel - Newcastle, we arrive an I see my almost new samsonite hardshell is now held closed with JETdisaSTAR tape. Looks like they smashed the closing latches off in Melbourne (two latches, including the combination lock - gone, missing, only little pieces left ). Before they are are even willing to help, they want me to jump through the hoops, I must get two repair quotes, I'm in Newcastle for goodness sake, how the hell would I know where to go. I did try, no luck. I asked JETdisaSTAR and their call center in Manila ( yes, it's out sourced as well) tells me to call a shop in Brisbane. They also want proof of purchase !!!!!!!!!! WTF is wrong with these people. I sent them photos, 4 days later, still banging my head against a wall. I leave Australia on Monday am, I'm looking for a roll of ductape to hold the case closed.
To lodge a compliant on their website, they want all my banking details, who knows all the bank codes etc. when on holiday. Once again WTF is wrong with these people !!!!!!! That's the kind of details one provides if there is agreement of loss and compensation, not as a first step in the process. Once again WTF i............. You all know what I mean.
The guy in Manila looking into my claim is powerless to make a judgement and seems to be on a different time slot to Ausralia. You cannot call and talk to him/her.
All I can say is JETdisaSTAR get your shit together.........................
