For EVERY single flight I have EVER taken with Jetstar I have received the following email:
"Since you made your booking, we have changed our flight schedule. Please be advised that your flight details have changed. We understand it can be frustrating when plans change, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. While we try to avoid any changes to our timetable, in this instance it was unavoidable."
Take careful note of the last sentence: "While we try to avoid any changes to our timetable, in this instance it was unavoidable."

It isn't a lie, Jetstar lose
It isn't a lie, Jetstar lose so much money through their delays and cancellations (particularly through reimbursing customers who've been delayed overnight away from home for their accommodation and meals) you wouldn't even believe it. Sucks you keep getting inconvenienced but at least you get the email in advance rather than delays/cancellations happening after you're already at the airport ready to board.
