Where's my refund????

The Gold Coast to Tokyo flight 2nd December???? We booked online and confirmed 8th October.... but SIX WEEKS after the booking confirmation and 5 days before departure Jetstar called and changed it to Goldcoast to Osaka.
We were advised to find our own way to Tokyo when we arrived at Osaka.

Despite our pleas for help,No offer to help find a flight.
How far is it from the Osaka International terminal to the domestic??,,,,how much time will it take to get thru customs??
Who is paying for the 2 extra fares??
What about the arangements I have made in Tokyo on our arrival??

3 months later......

Well after writing to customer care with a copy of my receipts...no reply

Did u buy tickets of

Did u buy tickets of JETSTAR-LIGHT? you are a idiot aint you sweet heart. jetsaver-light is a big no no change or refunds. go for JETSAVER nexttime your spoken.

Im sick of complaints and this will not resolved it all.

Yes Anonymous1.. how stupid

Yes Anonymous1.. how stupid are you? (according to Anonymous2) you bought a legitimate Jetstar product (jetsaver light) and have the audacity to complain when they change your ticket to a destination you did not choose, which is only a mere 500km from your original planned destination! Why stop at Osaka? Maybe next time Jetstar can fly you to Cairns and you can swim to Tokyo? It seems their terms and conditions enable them to do anything they like and keep your money.

Next time Don't buy Jetsaver light, in fact don't even buy Jetsaver.. avoid Jetstar completely- they only seem to be interested in your money and making a profit, mostly by charging fees and applying their rules to disqualify people from flying. They're certainly not trying to offer a fair and value service. And it seems whatever Jetstar does to the customer or your booking, it's always the customers fault and the customer is treated like an idiot.

What did george Bush say about fool me once fool me twice? Spend your money on a different airline next time.

Even Anonymous2 says he/she is 'sick of complaints'.. obviously that person gets to hear a lot of complaints.. seems like Jetstar gets a lot of complaints? Silly Jetstar customers- they are the ones that are wrong.. it seems that Jetstar can do whatever they like.

You wouldn't get it. You that

You wouldn't get it.
You that I have kept waiting from September 2010 till now.

They have pattern in answer your call. FAST TRACK, DON'T WORRY YOU WILL GET IT, YOU WILL RECEIVE IT IN 5 OR 10 WORKING DAYS, YOU WILL GET IT SOON,

Yeah thats what i rekond but

Yeah thats what i rekond but dont take this offensive please just you have to understand that if you want the idea freedom ticket that lets you refund/change dates/changetime of of your ticket only one time., You dont choose jetsaver-light to beging with

jetsaver light (wont let you change no refunds no change anything what so ever)

Jetsaver (lets you change/re-arange things for free only one time and only if the price was the same as to what you paid for if you where to change a different date or time.

So go for jetsaver

jetsaver LIGHT are just these who dont tempt to change things what so ever

So mickeymouse.. a customer

So mickeymouse.. a customer buys a Jetsaver light ticket from Coolangatta to Singapore, and Jetstar changes the ticket from Coolangatta to Bangkok, and the customer can't get a refund, credit or change the ticket in any way? OK so in this instance the destination was Osaka & Tokyo.. similar distance between Singapore & Bangkok anyhow.. Surely this is illegal. Certainly it is immoral-

Jetstar should never have a product such as this at any price.. it is wrong and they are scam artists.

This is not that big of deal,

This is not that big of deal, catching a train from Osaka kansai to shin Osaka station is simple then you board a Shinkansen bullettrain which will get you to the heart Tokyo In 3 hours much closer then narita airport let alone the experience of catching a 300km/hr train

@ Anonymous.. yes that's

@ Anonymous.. yes that's almost true.. the train ride from Narita is less than 2 hours as I recall.. and the bullet train wouldn't take very much longer- assuming there was a bullet train scheduled to leave close to the arrival time of the Jetstar flight. But does it excuse the fact that Jetstar have CHEATED the customer in this instance through technical and legal blah blah in their terms and conditions? Do Jetstar staff not see the deceit and trickery in these business practices? If Telstra advertised an iPhone, but gave you a Android phone instead- wouldn't that also be deceptive? It seems the same argument to me.

Osaka closer to Tokyo than

Osaka closer to Tokyo than Narita? -I don't think so! Clearly none of you have ever been to Osaka or Tokyo - it'll take you over 50 minutes to Shin Osaka from Kansai Airport then about 3 hours from there to Tokyo station, of course that's assuming all of your train connections are perfectly timed - not factoring in the time to clear customs & immigration as well.
This is definitely not closer than flying into Narita Airport terminal 2 & catching the NEX into Tokyo station - that takes 56 minutes!!! Last time I cleared customs/immigration at Narita airport in about 30 seconds, waited 10 minutes for luggage, stopped at a kiosk to rent a mobile phone, went down to the train station & was downtown within 90 minutes of landing in Japan.
As for the problems the original poster had - you need to put your concerns in writing- letter format not email. BTW, did you agree to the schedule change initially? Did you request to be put on an alternative flight to Tokyo?

I have paid a no change fee

I have paid a no change fee to change my flight when i try to change they try to charge another no change fee and baggage ad taxes again everytime you change i will take them to court this is totally illegal.!!
