No check-in luggage for 6+ days because of unethical and corrupted Denpasar airport counter staff

Tips for everyone:
1. Never pack valuables in your check-in luggage, because you might not see them again. Make your luggage stand out with something like a colour strip.
2. Be very careful with airport check-in staff in Asia, especially places like Bali Denpasar airport. They could do dodgy and unethical things to your check-in luggage. I had a conflict wit the check-in staff because he was trying to fool us and get us to pay for more check-in luggage, so he can put money into his own pocket. bangkok to Melbourne - staff appaulling

We travelled on a 9:25pm flight from Bangkok to Melbourne, flight was delayed, that didn't create any issues as these things happen. Once on the plane the attendants were scarce the entire time apart from when they served tea and coffee in the morning and threw our preordered food in our tray table which was pathetic. A nightmare at Melbourne & Bangkok airport... 19/12/2016

Multiple delays ending up in over 10h of waiting time unable to exit extremely bad Melbourne airport to catch some fresh air. Missed the connection in Bangkok. The chaos started early upon my arrival at the airport, unable to check in on the kiosk the Jetstar employee at the counter was crazy rude, didn't even know if they are affiliated with Turkish Airlines (my connecting flight from Bangkok). Not Qantas! Should not be an allowed code share partner

do not accept an itinerary which includes a leg with a Jetstar airlines (I was assured this was ok as it is a "Qantas code share") it is not Qantas!! and does not honor Qantas baggage allowances. After a long complicateD drama en route from HNL to CNS I had to buy a business class ticket on the spot in Narita just to get prepaid baggage allowances to Oz - all my field gear. Even the "business class" on their horribly configured 787 was terrible. It is the worst airline ever. Call support horrific. They use a miserable cargo gate with no amenities in Narita . 10 hours of delay

My partner is flying on 19/12/16 from Melbourne and the flight schedule was to depart at 2:45pm and arrive at 7:50pm. Then it was announced delayed to depart at 4:30pm and arrive at 9:45pm.

Then they announced again that it would depart at 6:30pm, arrive at 11:45pm.

Then again, depart at 7:15pm and arrive at 12:30am 20/12/16.

Then now depart at 12:5am 20/12/16 and arrive Bangkok at 6:05am on 20/12/16.

So this is completely bullshit. Never fly Shitstar ever again!!!

was meant to fly from launceston to melbourne on thurs 8/12 .. flight scheduled to leave at 6.25pm.. well after two flight delays we finally arrived in melb at midnight... this sucks soo much arriving at midnight.. no taxis...no skybus...finally arrived at my destination in melbourne at 2am friday....lost a whole thursday evening in melbourne... any compensations or vouchers....noooooo totally sucks.

New seats the last straw

Jetstar is beyond a joke ive been flying with them every week for the last 8 months and would have to say 70% have been significantly delayed, the new planes however are the absolute last straw the seats are pathetic, rock hard, tiny F.U. Jetstar

Avoid Jetstar at all costs

My son, his partner and 2 little grandsons had their Jetstar flight from Sydney cancelled late last night due to weather, fair enough, safety always comes first. They weren't offered overnight accommodation, fair enough it says that on their policy. They were given a list of near by accommodation to call- all booked out, nothing available.They were then kicked out of the terminal and directed to spend the night at the McDonalds across the road, which they had to do , my grandsons sleeping on seats in a booth.
The earliest flight home offered today was 1220, but that would take them...

Last time I flew Jetstar from launceston, experienced a 3 hour delay ...check in staff commented they were running one plane short all day . Now waiting for my sister flight 740 from Launceston due 7.30 pm....delayed until 1230 am...5 hour delay!! I've been warned no more Jetstar

Never again! Set out for Gold Coast on a flight 1 hour and 50 mins after scheduled departure time. Told we would land after 59 mins flying time. Told to prepare for landing at the Gold Coast airport and 3 minutes before landing - told we would be landing in Brisbane as storm activity on the Gold Coast prevented us from landing. By the way, there was no storm at the Gold Coast and the plane which departed Sydney 10 mins after us, arrived at the Gold Coast airport at the time we were due.

On arrival in Brisbane, there were no trains running, taxi to Gold Coast was quoted as $300...

FIRST & LAST JETSTAR BOOKING

I haven't even got on my Jetstar flight yet and already running into huge hassles with this airline. Their lack of transparency is likely due to their poor customer service - they don't want to hear any complaints from customers! BTW, a lot of the contact numbers provided for them here don't work. Their registered business name is Jetstar Airways Pty Ltd, ABN 33 069 720 243, ACN 069 720 243 and the head office is actually registered with ASIC as being at Mascot (Sydney Airport) NOT Melbourne.

Flight from Perth to Melbourne delayed 50 minutes, then when this time elapsed a further delay of another 12 hours.
Then when this elapsed, another delay of 1.5 hours.
This time Mr attitude advised that delay is due to poor weather in Melbourne.
Straight out lie, Melbourne airport weather site advised of beautiful weather with very slight winds.
Not cheap now.
Looking for alternatives from now on, especially for domestic flights.
The old Tiger airlines did the same last time I came to Perth.

Actually, I'm undergoing a bad moment for credit card verification with Jetstar.
I will go to Thailand this December, looking for a cheaper flight, I had chosen to book Jetstar because it had my option when I was booking at that moment. This is just over a year ago. I only just found your site.
My wife and I were travelling to Bali on September 4th at 9.15am with Jetstar.
We wanted to arrive early afternoon giving us an extra day in Bali rather than
fly at 5.30pm and arrive late evening, so paid more for the fares.

Jetscum does it again - FIJI direct from Gold Coast to be cancelled from March 2017......

So after having them previously cancel a flight to Tasmania that meant a whole trip cancelled due to their unworkable reoffer, waiting nearly 6 months for them to refund the cash, fighting over a single $100 voucher that could only be used on Jetstar within 3 months and vowing to never fly with them again it is 4 years later.

Friends getting married in Fiji in April 17 and I allowed the agent into flying Jetscum as it was direct from the Gold Coast and would save a trip to Brisbane..

Flight cancelled but Jetstar refuse to refund

My Tokyo to Sydney flight was cancelled and I had to buy another ticket as the offered replacement flight was one week later. I contacted Jetstar upon my return to Sydney to obtain a refund and was refused on the basis that I purchased a cheap ticket. JETSTAR YOU ARE A CHEAP AIRLINE AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE NOT TO FLY WITH YOU

Flight JQ815. Brisbane to Sydney.

Jetstar cancelled my flight 2 hours before take off. I understand they may do this if the flight was not full enough but they only sent me an SMS 2 hours before the flight was due to take off. Were they expecing a rush of sales in the last 8 hours from midnight to 6am.

Then I was expecting the be booked on the next flight which there were still selling tickets on. Its less than on hour later so not a big problem. But Jetstar would not put me on next available Jetstar flight, the earliest flight I could get was 5...

Jetstar's Dirty Revenue Raising Tactic: Randomly Block Web Check-in To Catch You Off-Guard

I'm a regular flyer between from Sydney to Brisbane and always try and catch the 6am JQ810 flight. I have noticed that on three random occasions I was unable to use the web check-in service. Specifically the error message is:

"Due to specific seating requirements for your flight Jetstar's mobile and web check-in options are not available at this time. please use a Jetstar check in counter at the airport on the day of your flight departure to finalize your flight check-in process."

Firstly: I don't have ANY specific seating requirements. I just want any seat you give to me....

2 Delayed Flights and 2 hours for luggage

2 delayed flights to and from Bali. Very little notice given, under 24hours makes it near impossible for you to change and they do nothing so they always leave it until the last minute to tell you there is 'maintenance' delaying the flight.
The 1st was 8 hour delay meaning we lost a full day, could not get a transfer or any help from jetstar. Phone staff very rude, no doubt because all they deal with are complaints about their terrible service.

Bought a flight last minute from Brisbane to Cairns. Advertised price was $120. It has taken me some time to digest the POOR RESPONSE that Jetstar have sent to my Mother after she sent a complaint in regards to the physical attack she received while travelling on flight JQ943 from Cairns to Melbourne and seated in seat 3C on 18th August 2016. INCREDIBLE JETSTAR RE-SCHEDULING

My wife and I booked flights from Melbourne to Perth for a 4 day September weekend, to see our son's family and 2 grand children. The return flights were booked at 10.50am departure time from Perth on the Monday. When I went in check via "Manage my Booking" a few days before the flights, a re-scheduling notice came up stating the flight was now leaving Perth at 1.40am Monday.
