Mel - Newcastle, we arrive an I see my almost new samsonite hardshell is now held closed with JETdisaSTAR tape. Looks like they smashed the closing latches off in Melbourne (two latches, including the combination lock - gone, missing, only little pieces left ). Before they are are even willing to help, they want me to jump through the hoops, I must get two repair quotes, I'm in Newcastle for goodness sake, how the hell would I know where to go. I did try, no luck. I asked JETdisaSTAR and their call center in Manila ( yes, it's out sourced as well) tells me to call a shop in Brisbane....

Bali To Perth Night Flight Screw Around Takes The Cake!

My partner and I were booked and waiting for the 2:30am flight to Perth from Denpasar, Bali. 2:30 came and went. With no notices, announcements,nothing.
Then we were notified it was delayed until 4am something. Then we were told around 3:30 it was cancelled.
We then had to wait in queues until 5:15am to get rebooked on alternate flights.
Some would go Bali-Brisbane-Perth. At 10:30pm. With a 2hr stop over in a Brissie. Arriving in Perth at 11:45am Saturday morning. Over 30hrs after our original arrival time.

Customer Service and Good Faith is Non-Existent !!

Last week I booked two seats for my wife and I on Jetstar to Bali and, after all the add ons and extras paid $880 for the flights. Less than 12 hours later they announced a sale and the same seats on the same plane were almost $200 cheaper ! I wrote and complained and received a stock standard reply saying basically "tough luck" you agreed to the price. I have persevered and written 3 times acknowledging that I can't and don't want a refund of the diference but in the interest of good customer service if they could have upgraded my flights with the points package to make them better value...

Online booking kept crashing us out

We kept trying to book online and got crashed out then the price went up x 2 while trying to book.. paying all the "hidden" extras: eg food and checked baggage...is very annoying ends up a lot higher than initial price. I just feel lucky that air is not an extra... oh you are a heavy breather sir ? the surcharge for that is 23.57USD.. me and jetstar: its over man ! over !

A plane-load of Jetstar passengers were left with only the clothes on their backs after a plane flew back to Christchurch with their bags still on board.

So my flights were per-sing 12.05am arriving singapore at 5am where i was too meet my girl friend who works as a flight attendant for a different company. No Bag for four days!

My Mum and I recently flew to Bali from Brisbane. When we went to get our baggage in Bali my Mum's bag was there but mine was no where to be seen. We asked the baggage desk if they knew what might have happened.
It turned out that my bag wasn't even loaded on the plane in Brisbane. They then said that my bag would arrive the next day on the next flight from Brisbane and that someone would call us with an update.
Nothing happened !!! We had to call them and then to find my bag still wasn't on a plane and was still sitting in Brisbane airport. I finally received my bag 4 days...

Flights Cancelled 75% of the Time!

Travelled to Bali 4 times in 2yrs now in Jetstar Business Class. The first time we flew so far is the ONLY time our flights have not been cancelled. The following 3 times in a row Jetstar have cancelled the flights and left everyone scrambling for additional accommodation, OR you just lose your prepaid accommodation for the nights that Jetstar don't get you there!

EXCESS BAGGAGE CHARGE FOR BY MISTAKE AND NO REFUND WHEN REQUESTED

My wife and I were treated by the baggage check-in operator at the Townsville Airport on Monday 2nd March 2015 for our cabin baggage being supposedly overweight.

Before leaving home we weighed our one bag to be checked in at 17kg.

When my wife and I went to check in our baggage at the airport the bag weighed in at 21Kg - When was the scale last calibrated!

Security Risk Your Kidding Me

On Saturday the 7th of March I flew from Adelaide to Sydney along with my wife my son and my 5 month pregnant daughter in law to get our connecting flight to Thailand. I caught a Jetstar flight last Thursday from Melb to Hobart - gate 27 flight info kept changing confusing many passengers - then it was announced the flight to Hobart would be boarding - and as people approached the entrance passengers carry on bags were weighed including handbags. If over 7kg total they were ushered over to another counter to pay a $50 fine and offending bag was added to checked baggage. after I expedience a nightmare trip and find this website. I can see I am not alone and its about time to stop this. Consumers have rights and there a kicked by Jetstar over and over again.

JETSTAR TOLD US OUR FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED THEN WE FOUND OUT IT WASN'T

Ok so I have been a loyal customer of Jetstar's for the past couple of years despite people bagging them out, they were so much cheaper than Qantas and Virgin and also they are the only carrier to fly direct from Townsville to Melbourne. Well this trip turned out to be the most expensive trip ever!

Most unpleasant Travel

Me and my wife plus my 2 infants was suppose to travel on 24 Feb 2015 on flight 3K 513. We arrive and check in 2 hours early and got our boarding pass and proceed to the boarding gate waiting to board the flight. Well I thought I would tell you a tragic Jetstar story. My daughter and son-in-law are going to Hawaii on July 16 till July 25 and they invited my wife and I to tag along with them on this special deal that Jetstar were offering. The worst case of customer service denying a disabled passenger wheelchair and rude customer staff telling " Leave airport - we need to close counter "

The most pathetic and disgusting customer service experience at Melbourne International Airport last night. The customer services team and the ground operational staff is a disgrace. Never again travel with Jetstar. Inspite of speaking with " David " from their customer service center after requesting a wheelchair for a disabled passenger, there was none provided. Inspite of the staff watching a disabled passenger struggling to walk, they did not offer any assistance. On reaching the gate the person at the counter did not let us enter the gate as he would have to do the paperwork again....

Surprise! Charged for bag going home but not when I left

I actually booked my flight from Okinawa Japan to Tokyo and left Okinawa with no problem taking my small suitcase as a carryon. When I arrived at narita to go back to Okinawa the checkin terminal would not give me a boarding pass and told me to see an agent. The representative started talking about checking a bag, I told her it wasn't necessary I have the same bag I came from Okinawa and did not have to check it 2 days prior. She told me I had to weigh both my purse and carryon and they had to be less than 7kg together! No airline weighs a purse except these people. I will never fly...

I will never fly Jetstar again

It all went downhill once I checked it in Singapore. This airline charges for your first checked bag - for both legs of a round trip. My fare was only $150 but my fare for one suitcase was $100. When I showed my displeasure, I was asked if I wanted to pay the fee. "What choice do I have?" I snapped back. But I was assured the fee of $50 would be for both ways and was told to keep the receipt to show when I checked in for my return flight. They either lied or didn't know their own airline's procedures.
