Waiting a month and a half for correspondance of jetstar taking money from my card and no flight booked!!!

I booked 2 flights with Jetstar and the 2nd flight took money from my bank acc but never processed the flight itinery confirmation. I checked online and no booking, i phoned jetstar customer service advised of my complaint demanding a credit and was told they could see the booking and would look into this. Ok i thought, then more than 2weeks later i had still no response. I phoned again to be told there was no mention of this complaint on system and i had to log this in writing on the website.
So i did and was told it would take 15days before i got a response. so then we get to over...

80 Year Old Grandmother FELL off stairs onto Tarmac because Jetstar REFUSED assistance.

My mother took my 80 year old grandmother to the airport this morning; they asked at the counter for assistance; for someone to help her with her bags up the stairs. She was refused. A young flamboyant man denied her, and said they were "too busy" even though a young lady stood behind him. My mother watched in complete horror, as from a few meters up the stairs, My grandma stumbles and falls onto the tarmac.
We don't know if she's injured yet, as other passengers picked up her bag and helped her onto the plane.

DISGUSTING.

What customer service?

For the last few days I have tried to change flights....the online system sends an error message every time you try to change your flight...now the cynical would say a deliberate ploy...so then when you ring a customer service officer in some other country it takes around ten minutes for them to get the details you have already supplied to a robot...and after a further ten minutes they ring off...they don't bother to ring you back
So I'll lose the $239 but now I know that I will never fly with these clowns again....prefer to pay extra and fly with a real airline

It's time Jetstar were held accountable and I intend to sue them

I would like to know how Jetstar can justify constantly ripping customers off like they do? My family and I (5 adults) booked flights from launceston to Melbourne only to realize a week before we fly that the times we had book were wrong now we take full responsibly for this as it was our fault but when we called Jetstar to see of we could fix our flights we were told we would have to pay $800 extra on top of the $59 flights we had booked which actually after the tax and everything else Jetstar charge were NOT $59 as advertised now I can understand being charged a fee for fixing our...

My wife was due to be granted her permanent Aussie visa but she had to leave Australia in order to pick it up. I had a very small window of opportunity to go with her (she's from a 3rd world country and has only flown a couple of times previously so solo travel was too daunting) as my co-worker's wife is competing in the paralympics in London and I had to be back by Aug 20.

this morning I was very nervous about what I saw. I was in line boarding your 6am flight to Cairns and I followed an elderly couple (approx mid to late 70's) through the boarding gate. The lady on the gate scanned their ticket and asked them (again no doubt) if they were aware they were seated in an emergency exit and asked if they would be able to assist in case of an emergency. Of corse the couple replied yes, as the idea of an exit row with all that extra room for a 3.5hr flight sounds ideal! I then followed them up the stairs which the gentleman struggled to get up...

On the date of 12/08/2012 around 550am we received very bad service from the lady at the baggage check in counter 07 in terminal 1 domestic , our flight number was JQ502. She was very rude and made comments towards us. Lost luggage

I travelled from Melbourne to Hobart today. After checking in I realised I had been given a baggage receipt with the wrong passenger name and city on it. I then went back to check in and showed the girl who checked in my bag the receipt. I was assured that my bag had been correctly booked under my name and would be on my flight to Hobart and that I had just been given the wrong receipt. Well, I arrived in Hobart, no luggage and now no one at Jetstar can tell me where my luggage is!!!! How can a bag just vanish when you fly a single flight from Melboure to Hobart? I made a booking today with jetstar stupidly after swearing to myself i never would again after the last time they fucked me over. I was booking a 3:15pm flight for me and my son and some how i booked the flight after it at 7pm. When i paid for it and got the conformation i realised what had happened and called jetstar straight away. After 15mins on hold i spoke to an operator who informed me it would cost 200 bucks to change it.

We are flying domestically from gold coast to Sydney. Somehow we ended up on an international connecting flight, so we asked the service desk for a assistance. The first response is "nothing we can do" followed by "change of flight fees" and "that's why its a cheaper flight" the guy seemed as though this is a common problem. He then almost cheerily advised us of the $4 shuttle bus to get to our car parked at the domestic terminal. WHY OFFER AN INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT FOR DOMESTIC FLIERS???

I elected to get 'Email boarding passes' so that I could print them off the day before flying out on the 10th July 2012. The evening before, still no email so I called up Jetstar Reservations to ask them to please send it again. I was passed around and put on hold for nearly 45 minutes only to be told "we can't do that as we've already sent it (clearly hadn't!) and you need to go to the Jetstar terminal early to make sure you are on the flight". 22nd July 2011 - Flight JQ980 - Brisbane to Perth - 14 hrs of HELL!!!

‎22nd July 2011 - Flight JQ980 - Brisbane to Perth with 8pm departure. I was travelling with my 5yr old twins. Ended up going via Melbourne to 'refuel' WTF?? Then aborted late landing into Perth, due to fog (as we were late from going via Melb). Circled, then flew to Kalgoorlie, and was told nothing ... Sat on tarmac for 3 hrs, before being told there were no stairs high enough to get us off plane. Then was told we were being taken to Adelaide. Finally landed in Adelaide after 14 hours on that plane at about 6am!!!! Told to go to checkin desk along with about 5000 people. Stood in queue...

I booked a 7am flight for my daughter on my I Phone from Sydney to the Gold Coast yesterday for this morning. I emailed her the details and she arrived at the airport at 6am for the 7am flight with only carry on luggage to be told that she was too late for check in! She was told that she was suppose to be there earlier as it was a international flight and that if she paid $100 the lady could transfer her to another flight that left and arrived at the same time! Second-class treatment on a second rate plane

To be honest, I should've checked this website before purchasing tickets with Jetstar to fly to Japan, maybe then I might've reconsidered flying with them.

The combination of lack of concern, run-down messy planes and being treated as a second class citizen has convinced me to create this post and to never fly with this airline again.

The flight over resembled something akin to an outdated cattle truck. Seats were ripped and discheveled, there was rubbish all over the floor and wires and cabling were visible from the back of the seat in front of us. This was the best flight...

Jetstar really really sucks! Just 10 minutes 360 changing fee applies!

I made a booking through their website just now. However, after paying the ticket through credit card, I just realized the passenger name is wrong. Unlike other standard online booking system, they didn't have confirmation screen at all! After filling the form, filling the credit card into and clicking purchase, you will just be redirected to the payment page. The only time you found any mistake is after you paid!

After I realize the information is wrong, I called the ticket center immediately and explained the situation to them. The time is so short that my booking hasn't gone to...

This is an email from my mother who is getting married, she asked me to put this up as she does not have a Facebook account -

Jetstar staff is wasting my time and try to rip me off!

I arrived in time to the jetstar counter but I was told the gate is closed. The staff told me I would have to pay extra $100 to book me into the next day's flight. It's 5:30am and I would have to wait for 24 hours? That's ridiculous. I then found out there were a few people arrived before me and they all got refuse to check in. They were not helping us to check in, just waste time to tell us "No! Gate is closed!". The staff's attitude was so rude as well. I would rather pay extra to virginblue. I'm finally in where I should go via virginblue. jetstar is hopeless!

Worst customer experience i ever had!

I called Jetstar Asia call centre on 06 July around 7pm and i have to wait for 25mins before i can get to speak to a call agent. Waiting time aside, a female staff who talked with a funny slang which probably only people of her same nationality can understand her, rudely disconnected my line.
