I find it hard to understand where to start, I am so stressed out right now where I feel my whole holiday attempt to get a week out of my routine and distressing myself ended up causing more unnecessary stress, courtesy to Jetstar. Mid year I bought 2 tickets for the price of 1, using my Club Jetstar account and paying for them using my credit card.

For my 40th birthday I decided to do the Honolulu Marathon. I found reasonably priced flights from Melbourne to Honolulu so I went ahead and booked it along with another friend.

Today I received an email telling me there was a 10 minute change to my return flight. What was not mentioned was the 6 hour change to my departing flight that means I miss the function I was going for. On ringing customer service I was told I could take the midnight before flight, however hotels usually will not allow you to check in until late afternoon, and I would not trust that one to be cancelled either. I got a txt from Jetstar today to tell me my return flight to perth from melb after xmas had been cancelled so I rang them and they put me on a later QUANTAS flight back to perth, 08.30am --it seems a bit weird that I was flying to melb with Jetstar then I got put on a quatas flight at a earlier time 0.600am --coming back I was booked on a Jetstar flite then I was rebooked on a quantas flight to come back to perth --I SEE A PATTERN HERE
hi im steve from Attadale in WA -I booked a flight on Jetstar 2 months ago to fly home to be with my family for xmas -it was going to be the 5pm flight to melb from perth getting into melb at 1am--got an txt from Jetstar saying my 5pm flight to melb was cancelled --I rang them and they said the only other alternative was either quantas 1300hrs flight OR quantas 0600 flight on xmas eve SO I had to go with 0600 flight as the other was fully booked out --my point being I have to miss a day of work because of this blunder and only 7 days notice--not good enough jetstar
Booked return flights in July for my son and I, Perth to Melbourne only to get a text 2 days before planned departure date that flight was cancelled. I booked flights earlier in the year for flights to Perth and return to Melbourne for my ex-partner and myself. I made all the bookings, it was my contact details, my account they took the money from however, when I went to change passenger details for the flight from my ex to my son, all of a sudden they throw another hidden clause which is not indicated on their fair rules statement which you agree to before paying for the fare, see following.

Have you noticed that even when you select to pay by Direct Deposit and have 48 hours to do so that even when you log into your account 10 minutes after making the booking that they say that... "Your default payment method has passed it's expiry date - please enter updated details below or select another stored card to complete your booking." ie they are now (falsely) telling you that you have to pay by credit card.... It is outrageous, misleading, incorrect and slimy behaviour. Of course we all know (and if you don't you know now) that you can still pay by direct deposit or Poli so that...

Never again Jetstar. After a particularly tough year we went to watch our young son March out of Kapooka and spend a couple of days in Melbourne with our daughter. My friend in Wellington just checked out the air fare from Wellington to Gisborne return for Christmas. ....Up on Wednesday 23 December and return on Monday 28 December. Total amount $828.00!!! I could get to New York one way for that or two return trips to Australia. C'mon Jetstar break their monopoly on this route.
First, after check in opens (at 4 am), they delay our flight from Auckland to Sydney by3 hours. Fortunately, managed to change ongoing connections online. Then, just as we are about to board, they delay us again for 1.5 hours, to change planes.

Jetstar cancell our outward bound flight with "Operational Procedure" earlier this week and today after finally arriving in Melbourne at 6;00AM, they cancell our return flights for Sunday afternoon.
Big hearted Jetstar cannot fly us home till Thursday! What a joke! What a fail as a company. Two booked flights.... Two cancelled flights. That would be a 100% failure rate when I went to school.

The voice recognition system when I call from Sydney is incredibly inept.
It disturbs me that they care so little about their customers that a customer can be stuck in a voice recognition loop for 5 minutes. There is no option to type in some answers. This is unacceptable. One of the worst investments I've come across. Most companies who invested in VR systems have discontinued their use (Optus being a good example) as they are so inaccurate and such a frustration to customers.
Travelling with my wife & 3 young children is hard enough but when jetstar change your flights without consultation, then cancel your return flights after you have checked out of your hotel & have no accommodation- your dream holiday soon turns to the holiday from hell. To add insult to injury- jetstars response was " find someone else to fly with", which luckily we did- Vietjet, who unlike Jetstar actually do provide customer service.
