LIES AND CHEATING AND EXTORTING MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS . CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE ARE LIKE PIRANHAS.
When you book a no change fee bundle and then try to change this is what occurs.
Check price for date you want to change to.
go to manage booking and log in . Then see the huge price differnce to your flight. Its a scam. NEVER I REPEAT NEVER FO FOR THE NO CHANGE PLUS BUNDLE .The thing is every time you change they charge you THE EXTRA 75 DOLLARS TO MAKE BUNDLE FARE. 4 and a half hours to get to from MEL -SYD. Missed my connection to the U.S!

Thanks to Jetstar, for ruining the beginning of my holiday to the US. My original flight booked for 4:30pm was delayed till 6:25pm which would have been cutting it close for my 9:20pm flight with Hawaiian to Honolulu from SYD. So staff kindly organised for me to board a flight departing for MEL at 5:40pm from the international airport. However, upon boarding this flight and departing the terminal we were then delayed (paperwork, tech fault, luggage missing from manifest, etc) for almost 2 hours...stuck on the tarmac! jetstar double books flights in darwin 28/3/13

My wife our 4 month old daughter, two year old son and my mother in law where told this morning they could not board there flight as it had been double booked. This flight was direct to melbourne departing at around 0800 28/3/13. This flight was getting into melbourne at 13.30, I dont know the flight numbers etc... I was really looking forward to seeing my family again, and my two year old boy could not understand why he could not get on the airplane, they were there to get on a prebooked flight so why shouldn't he expect to be able to come home. So Jetstar, Is this a regular occurence?...

Illegally charged for return air flight

I was on a flight to Phuket from Sydney routed through Melbourne. Planes were changed in Melbourne but not the Flight number, so I was legally on the same flight. There was a slight delay in Sydney take off due to weather and when we changed planes in Melbourne, staff were in a hurry. On checking in for the new plane, I was told I had to have a return air ticket with Jetstar, not one way, which I had. 5 Minutes Late to Check-In

I type this as my flight JQ286 has left literally minutes ago- without me.

I arrived 5 minutes after the check-in time and walked to the self check-in counters, only to find that the flight was no longer on the screen. I walked up to the Jetstar counter and asked if they would be so kind as to check me in- I was told that I was "5 minutes late" and that the next available flight would be at 4pm (my flight left at 6:55am, I was at the airport just a couple of minutes after 6:25am).

UNCIVILIZED COUGH ON A JETSTAR PLANE

On Saturday 9th March my wife and I flew form Perth to Adelaide on the Jetstar flight JQ975 of 3:55 p.m. We sat on 3E and 3F. My wife was sited on the window side while I was on the middle seat. On the left, next to me, was a gentleman who coughed all the way to Adelaide without ever putting his hand or a handkerchief in front of his mouth. I was on the flight VF 203 on 17 Mar 2013 from Singapore to Jakarta. After checked in without any issue (including the weighing of my carry on luggage that is exactly 10 Kg). good luck story

My wife and i are going to Bali for a friends wedding. We got a great quote from a friend in the travel agent business. I said who will we be flying with. Wife said jetstar. I said how much more for another carrier? she said $70 each. I said lets pay the extra $140. Then we lived happily ever after. the end. and here is a sentence to make up the 75 words. But then it was still too short so i added this sentence.

Why? Because they simply don’t give a damn about their passengers!
Recently after we were on board and the flight was finally cancelled, they treated their passengers poorly over 6 hours. Then they refused to compensate us for expenses we incurred. Instead, they were mercenary, offering a discount next time we fly with them. As if we’d ever fly with Jetstar again!

change of flights

Jetstar changed our retun journey from Manila.To a flight that did not suit us.After numerous phone calls (and we all know that is a problem) we eventually came to a compromise but still not happy we also had paid for seat allocation but that has gone down the drain. we also now have to spend 8 hours in Singapore
and this is not happening until april 2013 But I suppose if you pay cheap fares you get no service

Months ago I booked flights for my husband and myself out of Newcastle on the morning of 7th June, 2013, 9.20 am. We have family on the GC and we all needed to attend a solicitor there with regard to some family issues. We have a lunch time appointment arranged. UNFAIR ON CARRYING SURFBOARD/ POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I rang Jet star to ask them about taking my surfboard with me on a domestic flight. They said this was not a problem after i stressed are there any restrictions, but it would come at an extra cost However customer service failed to warn me that there is a restriction on the length of the surfboard, mine is a few inches over the limit. Unknown to me i go ahead and book the flight, adding on the extra weight to compensate for my surfboard.
Fortunately i double checked luggage limits on booking another flight with jetstar . I then noticed the limit for carrying a surfboard was 1.9m....

Rude flight attendants

Last Saturday night I boarded a return flight from Sydney to Melbourne. The flight attendant barked "turn your phone off" as I was in the process of doing so. He returned to my seat and rudely told me that next time I should turn the phone off in the terminal before boarding the aircraft. There is absolutely no need to speak to customers in this manner. The aircraft was still boarding passengers and I was trying to do the right thing. Appalling customer service.

Worst Customer Service in the World

On Saturday whilst trying to redeem at $50.00 voucher (which I received because on a previous flight from Perth a very ill passenger was moved from her seat and seated next to me and subsequently got me very badly sick... Change date cause of death in family cost extra $352

I had booked a return flight online for my husband and myself to fly to Brisbane to his his elderly mother who is 80 yrs old, as recently had lost my son due to a motor bike accident. So to get away decided to fly to Brisbane on the 1st March for a visit. In the meantime, an uncle has died and the funeral is on the day we are meant to fly out. I asked Jetstar to change the booking to a later date, that was no problem. Then I was asked to pay on top of what i have paid and extra $352. Bought ticket by phone, told taking a violin would not be a problem
Staff shepherded me on sight (as I was carrying violin in terminal area) to management personell.
They seemed to be aware I would be boarding with a violin in advance.
Refused standard violin case on board.
I stated "valuable instruments risk damage in the hold"

I walked away from area, re-joined queues- at desk was refused entry again.
Removed $10000 violin from case, boarded plane.

cancelled our flight no refund

We are going out to watch England in New Zealand, we booked a flight from Auckland to Dunedin in June 2012, in December 2012 they cancelled the flight and offered the day before or the day after, neither were any good. They then put on a flight on the day we arrived from K.L. but that flight would not have allowed us enough time to get the new flight, despite constant emails, tweets which seem to work enough for them to email me asking for details which they never do anything about, we still have not received a refund. My Letter to Jetstar - Quite tame compared to other stories!

I am writing to inform you of a situation I was in yesterday. I booked my return flight from Wellington to Christchurch through BYOjet (I have also emailed them with this matter) I received my email conformation and on the 10/2/2013 I departed Wellington with no problem. Incorrect date

Be warned, be extra careful when booking flights - I inadvertently booked a return flight for my son and grandsons on the 26th April from the Gold Coast when it should have been booked for the 27th, the same flight my daughters and other grandchildren are on.
